Prevention efforts aim to reduce factors that place youth and adults at risk for perpetrating violence and promote factors that protect them at risk for violence. In addition, prevention should address all types of influences on youth and adult violence: individual, relationship, community, and society. Effective prevention strategies are necessary to promote awareness about violence, addiction and to foster the commitment to social change.
Intervention
It’s a chance for you to talk to your loved one about their alcohol or drug habits. You could also talk to them about gambling or other behaviors. Reentry
Reentry, the transition from life in jail or prison to life in the community. Reentry offers a range of programs to help youth and adults newly released from jail or prison to successfully navigate the challenges of reentry, access opportunities to improve their lives (including through proven protective factors like education and housing) and avoid recidivism.

They help you to get out of your head and start taking action in the areas of your life that you wish to change. A life coach guides you through the process by asking questions that help you evaluate and decide which steps to take in order to reach your goal or make an important change. They are your motivator, strategist and accountability partner. Their goal is to help you reach your goal in the most efficient, effective and rewarding way possible. When you find a life coach, you’ll learn that they are more than just a counselor or consultant, they step you through the achievement process from the beginning to the end, from the planning stage all the way through the execution stages.
